The Church of St. Moritz
The Church of St. Moritz is currated by Jan Zdráhal

Church of St. Mořice is a significant late Gothic building, it has two non-symmetrical prismatic towers and richly arched beam triple. Inside, the 7th largest organ in Central Europe is installed (construction started in the early 1930s, put into operation in 1745). The organ was built by master Michael Engler. The manuals are 5, the indexes are 135.

In 1725, the Loretán chapel was built at the church with the financial contribution of Countess Kateřina Beckertová and her daughter Mariana, married to Baron Josef Petráš. The chapel was added to the northern side of the three-aisled hall. During the regification of the church, the baroque structure of the outer walls of the loreta, sanktunski and the roof roof valley was removed. The donors of the Loreto Chapel are buried under the chapel.

The Temple and its immediate surroundings are among the longest settled places in the city. In the 70s of the 20th century, in the immediate vicinity of the church, the remains of the Romanesque rotunda from the 11th century and the remnants of the Romanesque stone court from the 12th century were found in the Prior House. These foundations were picked up and placed in the depository of the National Monument Institute in Olomouc. In the place of the seaside church there used to be also a craft-craft czech (Slavic) settlement.

The archaeological research on the neighboring Pekařské Street has shown a continuous settlement since the arrival of the Slavs at the turn of the 5th and 6th centuries (the Great Moravian and the Great Moravian cemetery).
