Since 1999, the Czech Railways Museum in Lužná u Rakovníka has been engaged in the maintenance and operation of historic rail vehicles, which, after many years of service, now delight railway enthusiasts and anyone interested in transport history.
The area of the museum is located near the railway station Lužná u Rakovníka, in the beautiful countryside on the edge of the Křivoklát forests. The local collections include steam locomotives of various categories and from different periods, as well as historical locomotives, motor cars and demonstrations of technical equipment on the railway. Nostalgic train rides take place regularly, thanks to which you can not only see the history of railways, but experience it yourself.
